Ally Huang

I grew up in Hayward on the east side of the San Francisco Bay, where being tall was family tradition that I took to an extreme. I’m 6'11.5". I spent my early years navigating volleyball courts and curious stares, eventually finding my way to studio art. A class photo project led me into modeling with Titan Cast, where I approach every shoot with a painter’s eye for composition and space. Outside of work, I’m still painting, cooking, and occasionally returning to music.

My Story

My story starts in Hayward, on the east side of the San Francisco Bay, where I grew up as the tallest person in almost every room I entered. Long before modeling, I was learning how to move through a world that didn’t quite account for someone who would eventually reach 6'11.5". From ducking under doorframes to fielding constant questions from strangers, my height shaped a lot of my early experiences and taught me how to carry myself with confidence even when I felt out of place.

I spent part of my school years playing volleyball, where being tall finally made sense in a structured way, even if it wasn’t the future I ended up choosing. I was always more drawn to art than athletics, and over time that became my focus. Studying studio art gave me a way to think differently about space, form, and how I fit into it.

Modeling came later, almost unexpectedly, through a class project that turned into something much bigger. It gave me a way to take something I had never been able to ignore my height, and finally engage with it on my own terms.

Today, I balance modeling with painting, cooking, and everyday life in the Bay. Whether I’m on set or at home, I’m still figuring out how I want to take up space in the world, and sharing that journey along the way.
